What personal data do we collect?
The FareRyder, LLC websites are where you can learn more about FareRyder, LLC products and services and how to become a user, sign up for more information about our products and services, or access your account if you are a user. We collect Personal Data supplied voluntarily by you in a few different ways. Registration, Account Setup, Service Usage: In order to set up an account, you need to provide a full name, phone number, and a valid email address. We may need to store encrypted credit card information and use it for both billing and payment purposes.
We use your location to connect you with nearby drivers and suggest relevant destinations around you. We use your background location, when the app is closed, to provide navigation based services when you share your location with friends and family.
When you use our products and services, we may collect, store and process a unique installation identifier, IP addresses and device information (such as operating system or device model), barcode information and location coordinates. We use this data to provide our services to users and to track the use of our applications.
We use data analytics to ensure site functionality and improve our products and services. We use mobile analytics software to allow us to understand the functionality of our applications on your phone. This software may record information such as how often you use the application, what happens within the application, aggregated usage, performance data, application errors and debugging information, and where the application was downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any personally identifiable information that you submit within the mobile application.
How do we process personal data?

If your account is deactivated, your information will no longer be visible but FareRyder, LLC must maintain your information in order to comply with legal obligations. Access to and portability of your data are available by logging into your FareRyder, LLC account. Data correction and/or editing: password can be easily changed by logging into your FareRyder, LLC account. Name, legal company name, and billing details can be changed by calling us at 910-723-3066
You may request that your account be deactivated and no longer be visible. However, FareRyder, LLC must maintain your information in order to comply with legal obligations. Withdrawal of consent or objection to processing: You can object to data processing in certain limited circumstances. In such cases, we will cease processing your information unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue processing or where it is needed for legal reasons. Where we use your data for direct marketing purposes, you can always object by withdrawing your consent, using the unsubscribe link in such communications or changing your marketing preference settings. Personal and payment information is required to provide our services. FareRyder, LLC cannot offer or fulfill the services without processing this information. In addition, FareRyder, LLC ’s service providers may also be required to retain and use your information in order to comply with their legal obligations.

Because of the nature of our business, our products and services are not designed to appeal to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly request or receive any information from children.
Phone calls to/from are automatically recorded and stored for a minimum of 3 months by our phone service provider. Any discussions regarding payment details or other sensitive data are not recorded or stored.
